"One of the most interesting conversations Chris [Hemsworth] and I kept having was, ‘What does Loki want in the end?’ What does he want? I was unable to come up with a definitive answer. Perhaps because I don’t think Loki even knows. He’s become so accustomed to occupying opposition. Whatever the status quo is, he’s opposed to it. That’s why he’s a trickster, a shapeshifter, a deceiver, a strategist, a manipulator." (Hiddleston)
Won’t you spare me over another year?
But what is this that I can’t see?
With ice cold hands taking hold of me
When God is gone and the Devil takes hold
Who will have mercy on your soul?
No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold,
Nothing satisfies me but your soul
Well I am Death
None can excel
I’ll open the door to heaven or hell
My name is Death and the end is here.
Day 4: Thor controlling the weather and Mjolnir moments
Of all the many traits and strengths Thor possesses, that he wields Mjolnir is the most notable of all. Forged by dwarves of the rarest metal, Mjolnir is considered one of the most powerful weapons in the Marvel universe. By striking it upon the ground, Thor can resume his guise as Donald Blake on Midgard.
Having a natural affinity to influencing the weather, Thor is able to use Mjolnir to his advantage to summon and control all manners of storm. He is a god of thunder as much as he is a god of rain. Farmers rely on him as much as his enemies fear him.
In addition to controlling the weather, Thor is also allowed to fly by way of the uru hammer. He spins and swings it out before him, letting it guide his path as it, in turn, is guided by his will.
Mjolnir is unbreakable, immovable. Few can lift it aside from Thor, among them being Odin and Steve Rogers. It is a force in itself, laced in ancient rune magic, and only allows those who are worthy to wield it.
